Having served on the Glasgow Board of Young Enterprise, he advised schools on Team Enterprise concentrating on children with learning difficulties. Ian has over thirty years experience in commerce having worked with IBM, Ford and Bass. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds their Diploma in Marketing. The combination of experience in counselling, and commerce allows an insight to help people facilitate improvements in their business life. This allows a focus on dealing with hard commercial decisions that are required for successful business operations. Communication skills enhanced by experience, intuition, and attention to the individual enhances facilitation of solutions to business problems. Besides his counselling and consultancy work he is a director and partner in a private hotel company.
